Excellent pre dinner bites are served before dinner and hot showers are ready about five minutes after you inform the tent steward. Delicious meals are served in the dinning tent. Clients can enjoy the sense of security and comfort of insect proof large walk in canvas safari tents, wooden beds (King size available on request) with mattresses, crisp cotton sheets and warm wool blankets. ITINERARY FOR LUXURY CAMPING & LODGE SAFARIS

Day 1 – Depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, ( Aprox – 1.5Hrs ). Get there and proceed for a full day game drive with picnic lunches in the park known as the third biggest National park in Tanzania.Dinner & overnite at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 2 – After breakfast proceed for another full day game drive in Tarangire which is famouns for its big herds of Elephants of upto 50 in one group. Baobab trees are also the major attraction of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Lunch, dinner and overnite at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 3 – Early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. Later after lunch at the lodge, drive to Lake Manyara via Mto-wa-mbu town for a short stop at the Masai carving shop. Shop around for a while and sharing views with the locals around the town whilst shopping. The “Red Bananas” are not to be missed at this small town. Dinner and overnite at Kirurumu Tented Lodge, located on top of great rift valley ( over looking lake manyara national park ).

Day 4 – After breakfast with picnic lunches, you will drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara. The Lake situated along the impressive escarpment of the Rift Valley, takes it’s name from the Maasai word for “euphorbia tirucalli”, a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. The park is also famous for its Tree Climbing Lions and Birdlife including Flamingoes, Pelicans, Hornbills and plenty of forest species. Picnic lunches in the park and later you’ll drive to Ngorongoro for dinner & overnite at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge ( located on the Crater’s rim ).

Day 5 – After breakfast with picnic lunches, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. Here animals are found throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water. Ngorongoro is one of the most spectacular game haunts in Africa and has been designated a world heritage site. The Crater contains a big variety of Wildlife including black – maned Lions, the highly endangered black Rhino, herds of Wildbeests and Zebra’s, Hippo’s and Hyena’s….the most important predators of the Crater. The flocks of Pink Flamingoes inside Lake Magadi are also not to be missed.Dinner & overnite at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.

Day 6 – After breakfast with picnic lunches, drive to Serengeti National Park with a short stop at the famous archeological site of Dr.Leakey, the Olduvai Gorge. After a short lecture about the evolution of human species, you will continue your drive towards the most famous Wildlife sanctuary in the World, “the Serengeti National Park”. The name comes from the Maasai meaning, “ ENDLESS PLAINS”. Game drive for the rest of the day and later drive to our Private Camp, for dinner & overnite.

You will spend four (4) nights of full board accommodation at our private camp, set in one of the wilderness areas, depending on the season and movement of the animals. Campsites may include Barafu, Gol or Moru Kopjes, Lobo area, Seronera or the Western Corridor and are dependent on availability.

Day 7,8 & 9 – Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park. Searching for the big cats around the main water holes and the
famous Kopjes. The Wildbeest Migration is also the major attraction of the Park from end November in the Southern Serengeti to end July in the Western Corridor. Lunch, dinner and overnite at Bobby’s Private Camp.

Day 10 – After breakfast, game drive across the Serengeti plains to get on time for the
scheduled flight to Arusha. Arrival at Arusha…….

On arrival to Arusha, we can arrage for your transportation to either Zanzibar, Nairobi or to Kilimanjaro Airport for connection with domestic or lnternational flight back home.
